This one is for the scientists, the Scottish Chromatin group are having a meeting next Wednesday (the 10th of February 2010). The meeting is being held at the University of Edinburgh from 2pm-6pm, so obviously if you are in (0r near) Edinburgh you can just go along. Interestingly they are also webcasting the meeting, [...]  I think this post is important, I’m going to write about The James Lind library and a book that is freely available for download called “Testing Treatments – Better Research for Better Healthcare“. I think everybody should read this book. It is 100 pages long and it is free to download, the download version [...] I received the Leukaemia Research Scotland Newsletter today. If you are interested in leukaemia then I highly recommend it, it’s a 12 page brochure and gives you lots of information on fund raising events and research going on in Scotland. It really does cover the whole country, very often these publications focus on Glasgow/Edinburgh, [...] |
