If you are local to Aberdeen you probably know that the staff of NHS Grampian put on a Christmas Carol Concert every year (the one in Aberdeen has been going for 22 years). The concert raises funds for the children’s cancer charity CLIC Saergent. The concerts usually sell out, so if you would like to support them buy your ticket in advance.
Aberdeen Music Hall – 13th December 2009
Elgin Town Hall – 16th December 2009
There are also concerts in Inverness, Dundee, Glasgow and Edinburgh, you should be able to find them here. If you know of any other fundraising events going on over the Christmas period, let me know and I’ll write a post.
On a related note the leukaemia Research fund are selling last years Christmas cards at a discount price, so if you want to grab a bargain and still support a charity then visit their shop.
