I hope you've had the results of your tests now, as you said, it took several weeks so it probably isn't urgent.

i had a ct scan because my doctor saw blood in urine (not visible) she phoned me the very
next day and said that my kidneys are fine but did notice galdstones and that she will
check with a urology for a better reading. well they phoned me to come in next week....
it was 3 weeks ago when i had the ct scan so im thinking if it was very serious i would
think they would have had me come in much sooner. i guess im getting scared because
my appt is in another 4 days...so if it was urgent (the ct-scan) should i have been called
in right away.....im probably getting worried over nothing...what you think????

I hope you have had an appointment with your urologist and discovered the cause of the blood in your urine.

Be aware - blood in urine often results in pee being checked for infection. I have rung surgeries to get results to be advised "All Clear" with no further advice. Normally one would think thats good, nothing wrong. But blood in urine should always be pursued and "All Clear" just means there is no infection - you need to ask doc WHY the blood is there. So make further appt with GP to ask the question.

Blood in your urine is very common, there is no way to know if its connected to your surgery's without seeing a doctor. I would make an appointment with your GP and get them to check it out just to put your mind at rest.
