Huntly will be hosting a “Relay for Life” to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. The event runs for 24 hours from noon on Saturday the 27th of June 2009 to noon on Sunday the 28th of June.
It’s not a race! No running is involved, they are recruiting teams from around the North East of Scotland, teams can be from 8-15 people and can include children, the only condition is that there is at least one person from each team on the track at all times. You can find out more by visiting

The event will include a gala, with lots of events for the whole family. If you are interested in getting involved there will be an information night in the Gordon Arms Hotel, Huntly from 7pm to 8:30pm on Monday the 23rd of February 2009.
