This post is a shameless plug! My brother is going to run his first marathon, the Baxters Loch Ness Marathon on the 5th of October 2008. He is raising money for CLIC Sargent in Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire. CLIC Sargent support a nurse and a social worker at the Royal Aberdeen Childrents Hospital. RACH is a specalist centre for treating children’s cancer and leukameias.
On a more general note, CLIC Sargent produce a range of booklets, that you can download, for free, from their website aimed at children and young people with cancer.
